Why is balance training for seniors important?

Picture
Balance training is important for seniors because as people age, their balance and coordination can decline, which can lead to an increased risk of falls. Falls are a leading cause of injury and death among older adults and can also lead to loss of independence and a decrease in quality of life. Balance training can help seniors improve their balance and coordination, which can in turn reduce the risk of falls and improve overall physical function. Additionally, balance training can also improve muscle strength, flexibility, and overall fitness, which can help seniors maintain their independence and continue to engage in their daily activities.

Are you concerned for yourself or for an aging parent? Call to schedule a meet & greet. I work with seniors weekly and incorporate balance training into every session.
